Lucid Dreaming - Dream
Control
Have you ever been driving on ice or snow and started to slide out
of control? Have you ever had to sit in a classroom where the rules and regulations were not your own? Often
we find ourselves in situations where limits are clear but yet we still find little grasp on our destiny.
Even though we might be stuck in such predicaments, through training and focused work, a greater containment
of current conditions end results may be obtainable. Dreams can be seen in the same way.
There are boundaries to most everything, dreams included, but when we learn how to
interact and react to these spatial and mental challenges we can gain a better understanding of command and
direction. Accomplished dream controlling with the aid of lucid dreaming is significantly based in
experience. After we examine a few core attributes of dream controlling and some example techniques it is
then we might be ready to enter dream realms that are at times difficult to manage but susceptible to
condition change.
For lucid dreaming and dream control to work we must first truly accept failure and
embrace patience. As in life, in dreams and dream control, patience is a
virtue. Always try to strengthen your patience. Standing peacefully in
long lines is one way to go about patience conditioning.
Dream control is a difficult task and does not always come right away and loving and
living the journey will be necessary to arrive at the destination. Another characteristic
of lucid dreaming and dream control that we must have is belief. While dreaming and even
awake you must believe deep inside that directing your dreams is possible. Dream imagery
is many times founded in the impossible so it is a delicate balance of the mind to convince yourself of ideas
like the fact that you could make a giant talking squid that could spray you with black tar or some other
creative magical wand like creation.
You must fully internalize that controlled lucid dreaming is indeed a reality and then
transfer that belief into the dream world. A third attribute that will aid us in our quest
to manipulate our dreams is the ability to command change. We must verbally and physically
be willing to will the outcomes of our sleep. In our dreams we must be able to wish and
fight for the things we want and by demanding and encouraging change our dreams can become much more
manageable. Along with developing these skill sets, there are a few methods we can also
deploy to compliment these life entrenched intrinsic qualities.
When controlling our dreams through lucid dreaming there is always a few assistants we
can turn to too better get us in the correct state for optimal performance and ascendancy.
One tool many people use is called binaural audio technology. This dream advancement calls
on multiple pitch frequencies simultaneously to bring us into a relaxed and synchronized
state.
Keeping a dream journal is another method often utilized by those seeking greater
exertion over their dreams. By logging all the details of our dreams and recollecting and
recounting the events after we are awake, the dream jurisdiction we dominate over can become much more
realized and fine tuned. Finally we can always turn to various hypnosis and meditation
avenues to induce more susceptible dream presences. A common theme in the midst of all
these lucid dreaming endeavors is the ability to recognize and identify when you are
dreaming.
A key is to find alerts and warnings for dream participation and to know exactly when
we have moved from awake to asleep. Regardless of what we do to try and help along the
supervision of our dreams, one thing is for sure and that is it will take a lot of hard work and conscience
thought.
Attitude and effort will always go a long way into improving our lucid dreaming
control. Constantly practice and try not to become overly frustrated if you feel you are not
advancing at a rapid enough rate. In due time and with enough help, practice and desire you will
ultimately be able to obtain some type of guidance over our sleep time even if it is not to the level we expected
or would like. Time and entrenchment into the craft should bring success.
